Authentic stories in film, tv and media begin with those who create it.
$10 Billion…The Value of Diversity & Inclusion...
A year-long mentoring and internship program allowing aspiring film editors, music supervisors, motion graphics designers get first-hand experience working on media, series and film projects.
Visionary participants learn new production techniques that include budgeting, production schedules, development, and training using new post-production tools resources.
We have created a space that will support film and tv production activities from A – Z, providing a location to create and innovate.
As part of our efforts to support the development of more diverse content, we are offering grants to aspiring filmmakers and independent production companies from marginalized communities who are employing our Visionary participants.
We are currently working on our Residency Program which provides real-world work and mentorship on actual productions. We are working with independent filmmakers and production companies. Our current group of Residents include high school undergrad and recent college grads who are seeking more experience and mentorship in what we call in the industry “below-the-line” production jobs.
These are well-paying jobs that typically provide consistent work opportunities in an industry that is very insular and at many times unpredictable. We don’t stop at just job training, but also job placement and referrals to our network of independent producers and filmmakers.
We are a Bay Area 501 c3 non-profit organization founded to address the lack of diversity and opportunity for production creatives from underserved communities who are an important part of the content creation process.
We are talking about the unseen contributors: the film and video editors, motion graphics designers, line producers, unit production managers, field producers, research/archivists, music supervisors, sound designers, distributors, and editorial staff.
We seek to be a production hub that provides career opportunities in film, TV and news media.
The only way more authentic stories can get made is to develop a pipeline of below-the-line production and business talent that are represented in these stories.
Our mission is to help educate, develop and cultivate young aspiring production creatives who represent the multicultural experience.
Our organization has the experienced leadership and industry relationships to help recruit, train and develop those who aspire to be a part of the media and film Industries.
