About Us

WHO WE ARE

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can create a better future for aspiring production creatives who come from disadvantaged situations.
Our organization has the experienced leadership and industry relationships to help recruit, train and develop those who aspire to be a part of the media and film Industries.

WHY US?

There is a lack of diversity and opportunity for diverse creatives who are an important part of the content creation process. We are talking about the unseen contributors: the video editors, motion graphics designers, line producers, unit production managers, field producers, asset managers, research/archivists, music supervisors, sound designers, distributors, and editorial staff.

OUR APPROACH

Our Mission

Our mission is to help educate, develop and cultivate young aspiring production creatives who represent the multicultural experience.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision

We want to build a world where there is equal opportunity for those wish to tell more diverse stories, all while create long-term career opportunities in the fields of film, tv and media production.

Our organization wants to see a world where every young creative struggling to get assistance feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.

The Numbers Speak For Themselves

More and more states and countries are offering favorable tax incentives and credits to film and tv productions that have inclusive above-the-line and below-the-line production teams.

The film and television industry supports a dynamic U.S. creative economy, employing people in every state, and across a diversity of skills and trades. In all, 2.4 million people—from special effects technicians to makeup artists to writers to set builders to ticket takers and more—work in jobs supported by the industry, which pays over $186 billion in wages annually.

Overall employment of film and video editors and camera operators is projected to grow 12 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations.
